Food Bank Collection  - Oct 2022

Dear Parents

All of next week (3rd-7th October) we will be collecting donations of food and toiletries to donate to our local Trussel Trust food bank.

We have got in touch with them, and they are in desperate need of the following: (however, will accept all donations)

Tinned soup, toothpaste and toothbrushes, coffee, powdered milk, soap, toilet paper, shampoo and conditioner, household cleaning products, chocolate and rice pudding.

Please give all donations to staff on drop off or collection and we can add them to our collection box in the office for you.

Any donations would be greatly appreciated.



Dates to remember in May and June 2022

10^th May 2022- Nursery closed all day for staff training.

19^th May 2022- Purple day for Daisy Garland- We will be raising money for the Daisy Garland Charity which supports children with drug resistant epilepsy. Please wear purple and any donations would be greatly appreciated. We will also be taking part in some purple themed activities.

Week beginning 30^th May –The Queen’s platinum jubilee celebrations- We will be taking part in many activities to celebrate 70 years of the Queens reign. We will also be holding an afternoon tea on the 1^st June 2022 at 2.30- 3.30pm for the children in that day. 3.30pm pick up will be from gardens this day. This will involve activities and scones and squash for all!

Thursday 2^nd and Friday 3^rd June 2022- Nursery Closed due to long bank holiday weekend.

19^th June 2022- Father’s Day- We will be holding an afternoon stay and play for all the father’s on the 21^st and 23^rd June exact times to be confirmed. They will be held outdoors- weather permitting.

Parents evening- Date TBC (End June beginning of July 22)
